OUR
HISTORY
Founded in the 1930s, Berry Haulage began as a family-run transport business built on reliability, honesty, and efficient service. William Howard Berry’s son, Jack Berry, expanded the company into a respected fleet of tipper lorries serving builders, landscapers, contractors, and homeowners across the South Coast of England. The business was later led by founder’s grandson Jon Berry, who continued the company’s strong reputation for dependable aggregate deliveries until his retirement. Today, Berry Haulage operates as part of Natural Stone and Timber Ltd while proudly maintaining the same customer-focused values established more than 100 years ago.
We specialise in loose tipped deliveries of decorative aggregates, construction aggregates, sands, gravels, shingle, ballast, crushed stone, topsoil, and landscaping materials throughout the South Coast, covering areas from Chichester to Dorchester. Our delivery network includes major towns and cities such as Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury, Fareham, Eastleigh, Christchurch, and surrounding areas across Hampshire, West Sussex, and Dorset.
With decades of experience in the aggregates and haulage industry, our knowledgeable team provides expert advice on selecting the right materials for construction, driveways, drainage, patios, pathways, landscaping, and garden projects. Whether you require decorative gravel, limestone chippings, recycled aggregates, building sand, sharp sand, Type 1 MOT, scalpings, or bulk bag and loose aggregate deliveries, we help customers calculate quantities, measurements, and conversions accurately to ensure cost-effective ordering and minimal waste.
Our reputation has been built on supplying high-quality aggregates with prompt delivery, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer service to domestic customers, builders, groundwork contractors, landscapers, and commercial developments across the South Coast of England.
